The Bendigo woodturners participate in a number of activities apart from the various group activities such as woodturning etc.
Our Easer Sales and Demonstration was a great success - the demonstations were keenly watched with the woodturners amassing a heap of wood shavings and there was a wonderful array of items for sale.
Felling and slabbing of timber - the timber is then used by the club and members can also purchase the timber at a very reasonable cost for their projects.
Giving the Scouts and Venturers a chance to try various aspects of Wood Working
The club participates in a variety of demonstration the latest being at the Semour Alternative Farming Expo. While it was hot and dusty members set up the tent and manned the sales area and demonstrated on the lathe and scrollsaw. It was a great weekend with keen interest being shown in what the club has to offer its members.
